A graduate of Oxford and Harvard, Jonathan Edwards spent 14 years as a senior healthcare analyst and research leader at Gartner. In 2011 he joined the Advisory Board Company to launch a research programme serving healthcare CIOs worldwide, growing it to 75 members in 20 countries. He led the creation of research, organised conferences and developed trusted relationships with hospital executives. Under his leadership, the programme made a substantial contribution to global intelligence on healthcare IT benefits realisation, IT strategy and governance, analytics and electronic health records. Joining the IT Health Partnership in 2015, he now pursues his research and advisory work independently.
